Welcome to buttuh. By downloading, installing, or using the buttuh mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

2. SUBSCRIPTIONS

buttuh offers a free tier and a paid "Chef" subscription plan.

- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

3. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

The App uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate recipe suggestions, dish ideas, and cooking advice.

- AI-generated recipes and suggestions are for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- They do not constitute professional dietary, nutritional, medical, or food safety advice.
- Always use your own judgment regarding food allergies, dietary restrictions, and safe food handling practices.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

You may share recipes and content with the buttuh community. By sharing content, you:

- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your shared recipes within the App.
- Represent that you have the right to share such content.
- Agree not to share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws.

We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
- Use the App to spam, harass, or abuse other users.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App, including its design, branding, code, and bundled content (ingredient data, flavor pairings, images), is owned by buttuh and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, buttuh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to AI-generated recipe suggestions.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
